I recently got my rough cut together for the final project, and it is featured above. While I was shooting, I found that several parts of my story weren't working and so I changed a few things to better suit the overall flow of the narrative. There are a few things that I plan on going back and re-shooting due to poor lighting or the shot itself didn't work with the takes that I had.
After editing everything together, I realized that adding a couple shots will help. For example, I need a shot of my subject walking away from the door, because I don't show them walking away so there is a strange disconnect. I am also considering adding in a couple more CUs to help the pacing, because in some places it feels a little slow.
As far as my production schedule, so far I am on track and ahead of schedule. I filmed almost everything with the exception of the timelapse, and a couple of add-ins. My original production schedule had me only reaching shots 1-8 by March 7th, but I pushed to get it almost 100% done for the Rough Cut. Moving forward, I plan to have reshoots on Wednesday March 7th, and Friday March 9th. After that I want to focus on the editing and finding soundtracks and sound effects to go with the film. I plan on spending whatever time I have available on the weekend, and the two days leading up to the final (March 14th) editing everything together.
