Option One: Scroll Book: Letter-pressed Rear Projection Screen
This concept uses scroll book construction to pull the projection screen across the projector's image. The screen would have printed quotes that relate to or explain the theory of eternal return. The film would play out on the screen, and as the user turns the handle the screen would scroll, revealing and hiding the different quotes. The letterpress would be utilized to print the words onto the screen.
Option Two: Circular Pop-Up Book
The lid on the book would house a mechanism that when the handle on the side is turned, the beetle in the center would move around in a circle. The main part of the box would house the projector and the screen which would play the film. A folded circular disc would be fitted a top the beetle's circle which also features pop-up elements that are both visual components and written words/quotes.
